(1) 构成:由“助动词had (用于各种人称和数) + 过去分词”构成

否定式:had not+ 过去分词

缩写形式:hadn’t

(2) 用法:过去完成时表示在过去某一时间或动作之前已经发生或完成了的动作。

(3) 它所表示动作发生的时间是“过去的过去”。

①表示过去某一时间可用by, before 等构成的短语来表示。

②也可以用when, before 等引导的时间状语从句来表示。

二、名词的数

1、可数名词的复数变化规则

①一般在名词后加s,变成复数。如boy→boys,pen→pens等

②以s,x,sh,ch结尾的,在后面加es。如Classclasses,fox→foxes,brush→brushes,watch→watches。但stomach的复数为stomachs

③“以辅音字母+y”结尾的,y变为i,然后再加es。如baby→babies

④以f或fe结尾的名词英语中共有100多个,其中直接加s的有92个,但这些绝大多数不常用,如safe,roof,belief等;把f或fe改为v,再加e的只有13个,但13个都是常用的名词,如thief,life,wife,shelf,self,knife,half,leaf,wolf等。

⑤以o结尾的名词,除有生命的“两人两物”Negro,hero,tomato,potato等少数在后面加es外,一般是在后面直接加s。如kilo→kilos,photo→photos,zoo→zoos,radio→radiospiano→pianos,video→videos

当主语为动作的执行者时, 谓语的形式为主动语态;当主语为动作的承受者时, 谓语要用被动语态。

二、被动语态的构成

被动语态由“助动词be + 及物动词的过去分词”构成。与主动语态一样,被动语态也有时态、人称和数的变化, 其变化规则与be作为连系动词时完全一样。
